Extend the Life of your Barrels
Extend the life of your barrels through Oakbak. Every barrel will produce 60 battens, providing 8 square metres of oak at a significantly less cost than a new barrel.
Firvin Infrared Toasting Process
The FIRVIN toasting process uses infrared heat, which penetrates well below the surface of the oak. FIRVIN toasting of oak wood produces a deep, thorough and controlled thermal degradation of the complex compounds contained within the oak.
Two in-built cooling tubes allow the temperature of the wine to be controlled. Standard fittings to the cooling tubes enable a simple manifold system to be applied when the Stakvats are stacked.
